In October 2007 Watford Football Club’s Community Sports & Education Trust, working in Partnership with the Watford Learning Centre, achieved the Healthy Schools Accreditation from the Hertfordshire Health and Wellbeing team.

This achievement is a national scheme, managed by education authorities and confirms our excellent practice and ongoing commitment to healthy living and the wider support of the Hertfordshire Healthy Schools programme. 

To gain the accreditation we were required to produce details of all work linked to relevant criteria and significant achievements in relation to the Government's ‘Every Child Matters’ outcome of ‘Being Healthy’.
