Watford FC’s Community Sports and Education Trust is proud of its expanding programme of sports and educational activities.  This has been recognised in recent years with the Trust winning national awards which included The Football Leagues Community Club of the Year Award for 2008.

Based at Hertfordshire’s premier football club we acknowledge the important role we can play in helping to not only promote healthy participation in sport but in also helping to address some of the wider social, safety and general community issues which we all now encounter in every day life.

As a registered charity the Trust relies on sponsorship, donations, grants and external funding.  This money enables us to deliver a comprehensive community programme and allows us to work with some of the more disadvantaged individuals and communities.

If you are a local business and you are doing some fundraising then why not choose us as your chosen charity for the year.  You can even select the project you would like the money to support and we will give you an update on what difference your money has made.  Alternatively you may be an individual who would like to do a sponsored event, again why not choose the Trust as your chosen charity.

We are currently seeking financial support for several of our key areas of work including our Girls Football, Holiday Courses, Coach Education, Player Development Centres, Matchday Packages, Tots and Mini-Kickers activity programmes, to name but a few.  We also require support for our educational, health and social inclusion projects which provide positive opportunities for some of the more disaffected young people in the community.

Your support will enable the Trust to further grow many of these projects, ensure that those involved enjoy activities in a safe, positive and fun environment and contribute towards people feeling happier about themselves and the community in which they live.

Potential sponsors/partners will gain all the benefits that come with being associated with a high profile professional football club with a well established and respected community programme.

We currently have participation figures in excess of 100,000 per year.  Your support will enable us to increase this and give something back to people in your community.  However it is not all about financial support.  If you feel that you or your company may be able to support the development of the Trust through other means (expertise, training, staff volunteering time, etc) then we would also be very pleased to hear from you.
