About

What I do

I lead on a variety of Health and Wellbeing programmes, working closely with the local borough councils and the NHS. Over the last 6 years I have worked on delivering the Active Watford & Three Rivers programme, where I work with inactive people to help them become motivated to be more active. The work of the programme has been so widely recognised that it featured in the BBC show ‘The Truth About Improving Your Mental Health’. I do a lot of work with the NHS in the local area, creating pathways for healthcare professionals to refer. After the pandemic, I worked with Raise the Hospital Charity to put together fitness classes for the NHS staff. Building on the work I do with NHS colleagues in the local area, I also over see a programme called Youth Link, which is a social prescribing service for people aged 10–24.

I want to make a positive difference because…

Through personal experiences I know just how important physical activity is to not only your physical health but your mental health. Everyone should be able to access this.

My Trust value

Inclusivity – everyone is important – everyone should be included.
