Which of our Trust values means the most to you, and why?
Integrity is my chosen value. Two of my favourite definitions of integrity that resonate with me and how I go about my work and life are: “Integrity is choosing your thoughts and actions based on values rather than personal gain.” (Chris Karcher, Author) and “Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching” (C. S. Lewis, Author).
How do you contribute to our goal of healthier, happier, stronger communities?
I am privileged to spend every day working with colleagues who provide a range of activities to hundreds of children and young people every week in education environments and the wider community throughout SW Herts and Harrow. We use football and sport as a vehicle to engage with our users to develop their footballing ability, or their academic and life skills. We also use the power of WFC’s community profile to provide matchday activities and create positive memories of WFC for future generations of Watford fans. All this work is geared to ensuring we meet our strategic vision of happier, healthier and stronger communities.
