Your Roles and Responsibilities, but Not Limited To
- To attend staff training and development sessions
- To deliver high quality football-based sessions to a group of adult men with a range of mental and physical challenges and abilities.
- To organise sessions by putting players into teams and referring games.
- To help build a safe and inclusive environment for all users.
- Ensure that delivery of the sessions is compliant with the programme’s guidelines.
- Work alongside other facilitator staff to support each other’s delivery, sharing best practice.
You Must Have
- Understanding of the Trust commitment to EDI & Safeguarding
- Minimum FA Level 1 in football coaching
- Experience working in a football environment with small to large groups of young people and adults
- A basic understanding of mental health and how prevalent mental health and wellbeing needs are in adult men (with a willingness to learn more)
- Hold a clean driving license and have access to a vehicle.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate well with project leads and coaches as well as the ability to build positive relationships with participants.
You Ideally Would Have
- Hold a valid safeguarding and first aid qualification.
- Adult Mental Health First Aid Trained
- Experience working in mental health.
- Football coaching experience
