Your Role:
Meriden Community Centre offers a wide range of programmes and services to local people of all ages. Your role will be to manage a team of staff to deliver an outstanding customer experience, promoting new income-generated activities and lettings whilst ensuring centre standards maintain consistently high.
Your Responsibilities:
- To manage the ‘Meriden staff team’ facilitating a team environment through personal behaviour, work contributions and the sharing of experience and knowledge
- To attend and participate in meetings to develop and progress relationships with key external stakeholders
- Prepare quarterly reports on the running and operation of the centre for the council and our Centre Management Board
- Owning and implementing the centre’s business plan
- Drive new customers & sales initiatives through ‘heat map’ planning
- To identify key stakeholders and relationships to engage to showcase the Trust’s work and to expand our reach
- To be responsible for all monitoring and evaluation of the centre’s use
- Ensure the facilities are well maintained, including the floodlit astroturf pitch
- To carry any additional work and duties as required that meet the needs of the business
You must have:
- Experience of managing and motivating staff and volunteers
- Experience of working within a community facing setting where you have demonstrated outstanding customer service
- Knowledge and experience in implementing the legal health & safety requirements related to running a facility
- A good knowledge of producing, managing and reviewing budgets
- First Aid Qualification and Safeguarding Qualification
- Effective communication at all levels, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to plan, prioritise and organise effectively to meet deadlines
