Home » Ann Swanson Calls All Junior Hornet to Donate Old Football Boots

AnnSwansonCallsAllJuniorHornettoDonateOldFootballBoots

Ann Swanson, Patron of the Junior Hornets, is calling on all Junior Hornet’s to donate their old football boots and kit to former Watford FC captain, William Troost Ekong’s Foundation in Nigeria.

There will be a boot/kit drop off point in the Family Zone on 18 April at the game against Sheffield United. Please ensure that the boots are clean and the laces are tied together.

Ann commented:

“Please support this collection for William’s Foundation as there are children playing bare foot and they desperately need proper football boots”

William, former captain of Nigeria, said:

“ Without boots the children are often forced to play barefoot on dangerous terrain. Any spare boots our kind Junior Hornets have available or grown out of will be greatly appreciated and enjoyed by less privileged football fanatics.”

The boot/kit collection is a joint venture between the Junior Hornets, Troost Ekong Foundation, Watford FC Community Sports & Education Trust and KitAid.
