Watford FC’s Community Sports & Education Trust is delighted to announce the launch of its first-ever Corporate World Cup, taking place on 25 June 2026 at Meriden Community Centre.
With thanks to Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden as Host Sponsor, the event will bring together businesses from Watford, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas for a day of football, networking and community spirit.
Created to combine friendly competition with valuable business connections, the tournament gives organisations the opportunity to step away from the workplace, come together on the pitch and enjoy a memorable day in support of the local community.
All funds raised from the event will directly support the work of Watford FC’s Community Sports & Education Trust, helping to deliver important programmes across education, health, inclusion and community development.
A Celebration of Business and Community
More than just a football tournament, the Corporate World Cup has been designed to unite businesses in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. Teams will have the opportunity to strengthen team morale, build new relationships and connect with organisations from across the region.
The event also aims to celebrate Watford and the surrounding areas by bringing the local business community together through the spirit of football and the excitement of a World Cup-inspired competition.

The Trust is currently looking for 10 businesses to take part in this inaugural event, with sponsorship opportunities still available.
