Bio
I have over 35 years of experience in the
Pharmaceutical Industry; 20 years in Global
Corporate Quality, overseeing the escalation and
resolution of critical product quality issues. I audit
internal site activities against regulatory frameworks,
identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance
and business risks. I have successfully led strategic
initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and system
centralisation.
I am passionate about community. I have
volunteered with Brownie packs, collaborated
with Watford Museum, Watford Palace Theatre,
and led STEM activities in schools. My community
efforts also include knitting post-box toppers, sewing
scrubs during COVID-19 pandemic, organising craft
workshops, and creating public community artwork.
As a former BBC radio presenter, I often tackled taboo
topics within South Asian communities, promoting
awareness and improvement in areas such as mental
health, domestic violence, and the importance of
regular health screenings.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, gardening, painting
abstract art and spending time with my family.
