Local, family owned business Bugler Group, are long standing partners of Watford FC, and current Executive Club Members at Vicarage Road. This season they have chosen to go a step further and are now also showing their support to Watford FC’s official registered charity Watford Football Club’s Community Sports and Education Trust (Trust).
Through their Foundation, The Bugler Group provide various charitable activities, donations, and sponsorships throughout the year to individuals, groups and communities. That has now been extended with their £10,000 commitment to the Trust, sponsoring the Trust’s ongoing mission to ‘make a positive difference for all through sport, physical activity and learning’.
The Bugler Group is a specialist affordable housing contractor and residential property developer operating in London and the South East of England. Formed in 1982, they are approaching four decades of experience in delivering high quality homes on private, affordable and mixed-use developments and are made up of four companies Bugler Land, Bugler Developments, Bugler Homes and Bugler Living.
Community Director Rob Smith said of the partnership:
“It is great that local business Bugler Group has made a commitment to the Trust and our communities. Their support, particularly at a time of unique challenges for the charity sector, is well received and will undoubtedly help us to continue making a positive difference to local lives. We look forward to this being the start of a long and fruitful relationship.”
Andy Bugler, Bugler Group Chief Executive, said:
“As a business based in the Watford area and with the Bugler families life-long support of Watford FC, we have always been aware of and admired the great work the Trust have done in helping a diverse range of local people and initiatives.
Throughout the years, we have supported numerous charitable and community causes, establishing the Bugler Foundation in 2019 to formalise this. As part of this ongoing commitment, we are delighted to partner and offer financial support to the Trust and envisage this relationship continuing for many years to come.”
