About
What I do
As the Older Adults Project Manager, I lead three community focused projects that support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of adults. I oversee Golden Memories, a weekly programme offering engaging and meaningful sessions designed for individuals living with dementia and their loved ones or carers. I also manage Extra Time, a social and activity-based programme delivered across three sites. It aims to reduce isolation by encouraging older adults to connect, socialise and stay active. In addition, I oversee a Falls Prevention programme in Harrow, which focuses on improving mobility, confidence and overall health to help individuals live safely and independently.
My role involves working closely with local professionals and partners, which helps ensure our support extends beyond the sessions by signposting individuals to relevant external services. By fostering strong community relationships and delivering inclusive programmes, we aim to create a lasting impact on the lives of adults and their families, both during our sessions and within the wider community.
I want to make positive difference because…
I am passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults. My work is driven by the belief that everyone deserves to feel valued, supported and connected, regardless of age or diagnosis.
I am committed to creating inclusive, community-based programmes that reduce social isolation and enhance quality of life for all.
My Trust Value
My Trust value is Inclusivity. Being welcoming and inclusive to everyone is at the heart of my work. I work with people from all walks of life and always strive to create environments where individuals feel safe, included and part of a community.
I ensure that our programmes reflect the diverse needs of those we support, and I take great pride in helping everyone feel they belong. Inclusivity is not just a value I believe in, it is something I practise every day through my approach to people, partnerships, and the spaces we create together.
