Extra Time is a weekly social and activity programme for adults aged 55+, dedicated to improving physical, mental, and social wellbeing through friendship, movement, and fun. Designed for all abilities, each session combines physical activity with social time, refreshments, and opportunities to meet new people.
Extra Time runs weekly at three community venues:
Vicarage Road Stadium
Weekly (Thursdays 10-12pm)

- Chair-based exercises
- Light games & puzzles
- Refreshments & social time
Cedars Youth & Community Centre
Weekly (Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30-12:30pm)
- Zumba
- Badminton
- Table tennis
- Snooker
- Puzzles & refreshments
Meriden Community Centre
Weekly (Tuesdays 10-12pm)
- Carpet bowls
- Refreshments & social time
How to Join
- Anyone can turn up to the sessions
- £4 per session
- Sessions may not run during summer holidays or school term breaks, please call or email the Older Adults Project Officer to confirm
