Participants aged between 6 and 16 years old can enjoy a 90-minute coaching session with Watford FC’s Community Sports and Education Trust coaches on a 3G pitch at Westfield Academy (Tolpits Lane, Watford, WD18 6NS) before taking the short walk to Vicarage Road Stadium to enjoy a Watford FC men’s first team league fixture.
Our Matchday Package dates for the 2025/26 season have now been released. Matchday packages take place only for men’s league matches at Vicarage Road on a Saturday during the academic year (and outside of school holidays).

MDPs are for groups of any type; grassroots football clubs, school, community groups or just groups of friends wanting to train and come to a game.
Our Matchday Packages (MDP) are available on a first come, first served basis to any of the abovegroups with participants aged between six and 16 years old.
Our minimum coaching group size is 10 participants and a maximum of 16 participants in a coaching group. If you want to bring along more than 16 participants, the group organiser will need to organise them into smaller groups of 10+.
(Please note that individual coaching groups must only contain participants within a two-year age band.)
Every club, team or group must have a nominated group organiser that we can liaise with and who will be responsible for managing and paying for the booking.
Every participant will receive a junior ticket for the fixture included within the price of their matchday package place. The group organiser can also purchase additional ‘non-participant’ tickets for members within your group at the price of £25 per person.
Participants need to come dressed for appropriately for a football session, appropriate to the weather conditions for the day. Shinpads must be worn and only moulded football boots or AstroTurf trainers (not metal studs or flat soled trainers) are permitted on the Westfield pitch.
Please also bring plenty of water and ensure sunscreen is applied before the participants take the pitch – should we be lucky enough to have a sunny day! Our coaches will not apply sunscreen to any participants.
Fixtures may change kick off times dependent on live UK TV selection, or as directed by the English Football League or Football Association. In the event of a fixture being moved from the original date/time- you will be contacted to notify you of any change within 48 hours of us being made aware of the new kick off day/time.
We have two options of timings, dictated by the kick off time.

Matchday packages costs £25 per participant. This price includes one junior participant place at our coaching session and a junior match ticket for the corresponding fixture. Additional adults within groups can be included in your booking, also at the price of £25 per person. Additional Junior tickets are available at £10 per person.
Please note that the total number of additional tickets requested as part of the package cannot exceed the number of junior participants per booking.
We are unable to offer a reduced price for a matchday package place for any of the group who made be Watford FC season ticket holders. Matchday packages are run by Watford FC’s Community Sports and Education Trust and any profit made from packages goes towards the work of the charity.
