About

What I do

As the Football Development Manager, my main role is managing our Football & Education Programme at Whitmore High School. The programme is designed to provide 16–19-year-olds an opportunity to combine football with academic studies. Our aim is to help young males develop their football ability to progress into a higher level of football or help them achieve other ambitions such as University, Football Coaching, or other passions within the sports industry. Alongside this, I head coach at our Harrow Player Development Centre. A programme designed to further develop technically competent grassroots football players.

I want to make a positive difference because…

Attending this programme when I was 16 gave me an opportunity obtain an academic qualification whilst playing football. This allowed me to further progress my career by going to university, gaining qualifications and now in fulltime employment with the Trust. Now managing the programme, I want to provide the same opportunities I had to the younger generation. It is rewarding to see young males grow into adults and progress their lives.

My Trust value

Inclusivity because everyone should have equally opportunity and receive the support to grow and achieve their potential.
